Tony McIntosh
President
Tony McIntosh, AU, MLIS, CYB, CRIS is the President of the Liberty Company Insurance Brokers, providing leadership & business development services within the Liberty Company offices. He also serves as the President of their MGA Aura Risk Management Insurance Services, tasked with building and managing programs that support Liberty clients on an exclusive basis and building out programs for select distribution to external broker partners.
Tony is a third-generation, dynamic and experienced insurance professional, with an entrepreneurial passion, and a proven track record for leadership and sales. He has an extensive Workers Compensation and Property & Casualty background. He carries 10+ years of underwriting experience and program administration management with KRM Risk Management, a family-owned MGA in Southern California. As a broker, he has led marketing placements, programs, sales teams, and has a vast underwriting background which is key to successful risk management. Most recently Tony launched his company Mission West Insurance Services, which was originally First Foundation Insurance Services Property & Casualty Division that he founded in 2015. Tony has worked at reputable firms such as First Foundation Bank where he launched their Property & Casualty division, Barney & Barney a Marsh & McLennan company leading marketing and sales, and comes from a long family history of insurance professionals and innovators. Tony also has a specialization in Alternative Risk with a focus on Captives, Self-Insurance, and Large Deductible programs. He provides strategic oversight and risk management solutions to large and upper-middle market and publicly traded firms with an emphasis on tailoring programs to meet clients' risk appetite and financial goals. Tony has earned the professional designations of Associate in Underwriting (AU), Management Liability Insurance Specialist (MLIS), Cyber (CYB), and a Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS).
Tony was raised in Orange County and attended the University of Southern California. He sits on the National Agency Advisory Council for Nationwide Insurance Company. For the past six years, he has also served on the Board of Advisors for American Technologies, Inc., the nation's largest family-owned, full-service restoration, environmental, and reconstruction contractor. Tony was a HOT 100 winner in 2020 and 2021 with Business Insurance America. Tony is a current 2022 Business Insurance Global 100 winner.

Urvish Patel

Urvish Patel is Executive Vice President of Liberty Underwriting Solutions (LUS) and provides leadership and business development services within the Liberty Company offices. He is also responsible for developing, building, and managing programs that support Liberty clients on an exclusive basis, in addition to building out programs and wholesale distribution for select external broker partners.
Urvish is a proven corporate architect of business development strategies delivering multi-million-dollar portfolio growth. He is an executive leader and distinguished influencer with extraordinary results yielded by inspiring teams to achieve high performance in competitive markets. Urvish develops innovative business solutions funneling proprietary products to market with immediate profitability.
He has an extensive Professional Liability and Property & Casualty background. He carries 21+ years of Professional Liability underwriting experience and program administration management with Brown & Brown, Inc., MGA in Tampa, Florida. Brown & Brown’s Tampa Programs division managed over $120M book of professional liability, property and casualty, cyber liability and worker compensation delegated underwriting authority program business nationwide and across all class codes, for decades. As a program leader, he has lead marketing placements, programs, sales teams, and has a vast underwriting background, which is key to successful risk management.

Bernadette Green is the Director, Business Development of Liberty Underwriting Solutions (LUS), she is responsible for developing and managing all marketing campaigns related to programs under LUS. In addition, Bernadette collaborates with senior leadership, as well as internal and external producers to propel innovative marketing campaigns to capture new business and increase brand awareness nationwide.
Bernadette is a corporate visionary with unrestricted insight leveraged to build multi-dimensional solutions to complex business issues. Bernadette has over 24+ years of experience in Professional Liability, Property & Casualty and program administration management with Brown & Brown, Inc., MGA in Tampa, Florida. She has directed operations, marketing, and strategic programs for multiple business units including leading several program segments. She cultivated business opportunities for insurance retail agency sales operations specializing in dentists, lawyers, accountants, podiatrists, optometrists, and allied health professionals. Focused online sales strategy and product development to scale multiple segments including a Wedding and Events program, where she crafted targeted online marketing campaigns and promotions to drive revenue to surge in the US market.

Eric R. Morrison
Senior Vice President

With over 20 years of extensive P&C experience, Eric primarily focused on producing underwriting profit using his experience in niche, hard-to-place markets. His focus and area of expertise is in the cannabis insurance space.
Eric began his career at Benchmark Insurance Company (BIC), a grocery focused nationwide Carrier as a Senior Underwriter. There he was responsible for the performance and profitability of an $8M P&C and Workers’ Compensation book of business, comprised of TIV’s up to $500M and risk profiles ranging from traditional guaranteed cost, to large self-insured retention offerings on multiple lines of business.
In 2007, Eric helped form an MGA Supermarket Group, Inc. (SIG) with other key Carrier BIC executives to provide a tailored P&C Package product for independently owned and operated grocery retailers nationwide. Built from the ground up and entirely off organic growth, Eric was responsible for the underwriting results, as well as responsible for managing Agency and Carrier relationships.
SIG was purchased by a leading transportation MGA based out of Nashville, TN in 2017. Looking for a new challenge under the Avant umbrella, in 2018 Eric assisted in forming a new cannabis division, SafeHerb. There he provided his intimate knowledge dealing with multifaceted complex grocery accounts helping structure underwriting guidelines, forms, rates, and became the lead underwriter on the program.
In 2020, Avant was purchased by Specialty Program Group a subsidiary of HUB International, the largest privately owned Agency with over $25B in written premium.
In 2022, Eric joined Aura Risk as SVP and Cannabis Program Leader. In his role, Eric will be leading the charge of developing and innovating Aura’s new Cannabis Program, as well as other specialized, niche programs which fit Aura’s appetite. In addition, as Senior Vice President, he will be evaluating, quantifying, and qualifying complex risk portfolios, supplying workable and mutually beneficial marketing and underwriting solutions for Aura’s producers, clients, and carrier partners.
